-	Last year was a very tough one as far as book reading went. We bought a new house, for starters, so that my time was heavily taken up by that. And my jobs. And my business. And, you know, my family. :) I didn't even START reading any books until August, but still managed to get my 50 in. And I'm incredibly proud of that.	+	Over the last year, I got really into two specific genres: fantasy (witches, demons, vampires, ets.) and erotica/romance. I really loved the Beautiful Creatures books (Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl), and then my friend introduced me to the Rachel Morgan books (Kim Harrison). I just gobbled them up, and have been looking for more. I found the Dante Valentine series (Lilith Saintcrow), which I'm looking forward to jumping into, and then will look at reading the Mortal Instruments books (Cassandra Clare).
-	I've got a hee-yooge pile of books I want to jump into this year. We'll see how far I get. :)	+	In terms of erotica, I've mostly been reading short stories and novellas by up and coming authors. Some have been good; some really bad. But I have a new batch of books I'll be delving into, and eventually want to see what all the fuss over the 50 Shades of Grey books is. :P

My Personal 50 Book Challenge

Welcome to 2014, readers!

Over the last year, I got really into two specific genres: fantasy (witches, demons, vampires, ets.) and erotica/romance. I really loved the Beautiful Creatures books (Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl), and then my friend introduced me to the Rachel Morgan books (Kim Harrison). I just gobbled them up, and have been looking for more. I found the Dante Valentine series (Lilith Saintcrow), which I'm looking forward to jumping into, and then will look at reading the Mortal Instruments books (Cassandra Clare).

In terms of erotica, I've mostly been reading short stories and novellas by up and coming authors. Some have been good; some really bad. But I have a new batch of books I'll be delving into, and eventually want to see what all the fuss over the 50 Shades of Grey books is. :P
