She was kidnapped by ghouls and used by Liv Vandenberg in her Imperator-led ritual to summon Belial. All four of the male participants raped her and she was raped by Belial, impregnated with his half-demon child. Deirdre used Summer magic to remove the pregnancy, unknowingly transferring it to herself. She was left catatonic in SFGH, where she was possessed by Erebus. After an exorcism and psychomantic therapy by Daisy, she is reasonably functional, though plagued by nightmares of her experiences.
