Valeria is an illegal bioroid recovered from a Martian Triad facility in the Inner Belt. She had already received a year of training in combat and sexual skills but, upon her recruitment into the GRA, her personal infomorph was replaced by an SAI agent who saw to a year of further training in the skills she would require to be a capable agent. However, she has had very little opportunity to personally develop. She has been assigned to investigate a bioroid trafficking ring in L5 being funded by the Martian Triad. There are no public records of her employment by the GRA. On paper, she is a bounty hunter.

Valeria is an illegal bioroid recovered during a raid on Sakharov Station. The GRA agents discovered that she was an assassin sent to kill a rogue Martian Triad bioengineer operating in L5. They replaced her minder LAI with Simon and put her into play. She has no idea who she actually is and Simon has been instructed to keep to her cover. She thinks she is a Russian bounty hunter here on a contract to find the missing bioengineer. Simon tells her that the memory loss is due to her being slipped memory-erasing nano.
