Born simply of the spirits of subway cars, this spirit proved to be both ambitious and vicious, consuming any spirit of its choir which it could reach. Fueled by the essence of its hidden locus and a powerful brood, it quickly consumed the spirits of the Caltrain system, Muni Metro, and, finally, the bus system. It is now the embodiment of the entire public transportation system which has its heart in San Francisco but reaches to Oakland, San Jose, and throughout Silicon Valley. The only holdout are the Cable Cars, who have enough of power and essence of their own to fend it off, but it eyes them greedily. Since it has expanded well beyond the confines of the city, it no longer considers itself a member of the Phoenix Court, though it would support it against the Dragon Court, should the need arise. | Born simply of the spirits of subway cars, this spirit proved to be both ambitious and vicious, consuming any spirit of its choir which it could reach. Background
