- Eva gives Tolliver a gris-gris (potion) for PROTECTION FROM HOSTILE MAGIC.
- Eva tracks Kong to Mount Diablo.
- Daisy gets Rob's warden sword, with his permission.
- Tolliver taints the ley line from Coit Tower with patriarchal resonance.
- Dierdre gives Tolliver's car an illusion of cop lights and they get to Mt. Diablo in a mere half an hour (around 8pm).
- Dierdre veils them and they approach the cabin on the summit, find the proxy, and are attacked by black dogs.
- Tolliver ritually defiles Kong using the proxy doll while Eva holds off the dogs and Daisy enchants them into jumping in to the circle.
- Bad traffic and poor driving on Eva's part put them at the house at just before midnight.
- Deconstruct Diana's wards with the help of Rowan.
- Massive fight ensues. Eva taken out, Dierdre barely survives while accepting Rowan's help, Tolliver almost killed, Daisy Mae disrupts the ritual, destroying the house.
