Plot

Diana has kidnapped a young man to sacrifice and consume during the Harvest Moon/Autumn Equinox (Sep 22/23) in order to enact a powerful, ancient Hecatean ritual to kill Tolliver. Her "sisters" Juno and Minerva are going after his sisters Julia and Grace, respectively.

• Setup: Robin asks the group to come to his hospital room and debrief him on events. Meili will breech the topic of who gets the sword. Social conflict!

Missing Person

• Location: Multi-Service Center

• Setup: Preacherman contacts the group to tell them about a missing boy, Kong (16-year-old Chinese runaway).

Crazy Homeless Guy

• Location: Justin Herman Plaza (foot of Market at Embarcadero)
• Participants: Poor Larry
• Zones: Scupture, Pool, Plaza (several zones), Market, Embarcadero, Hyatt Lobby, Park (several zones)
• Aspects: SLEEPING HOMELESS
• Setup: Interviewing homeless point to a scary homeless guy doing magic.

Dog Pack

• Location: Golden Gate Avenue
• Participants: A pack of wild dogs being led by Laelaps
• Zones: Alley, Dumpster, Street, Sidewalk, Closed Store, Apartment Building, Parking Lot (SLEEPING HOMELESS)
• Aspects: NEARLY FULL MOON
• Setup: While investigating where Kong used to sleep, the PCs are set upon by hounds under the control of Diana's "familiar", who is trying to bloody Tolliver.

Break-In

• Location: Daisy's shop
• Participants: Meili Lin
• Zones: Shop (two zones), Behind the Counter, Storeroom, Stairs, Hall, Bedroom, Bathroom, Kitchen, Dining Room

• Setup: Meili breaks into the shop, in search of Robin's warden sword.

Meet the Author

• Location: The Stinking Rose
• Participants: Diana Lagina, Laelaps?, eunuch bodyguard and driver
• Aspects: AWASH IN GARLIC
• Setup: Once the party identifies Diana, she'll meet them (or they'll find her) at the Stinking Rose, where the garlic (holy to Hecate) and public setting are to her advantage. This will be a social conflict, dammit!

The Sacrifice

• Location: Diana's swank Twin Peaks home
• Participants: Diana Lagina, Laelaps, three eunuchs, several large mastiffs, bound Kong
• Zones: Foyer, Hallway, Office, Master Bedroom, Master Bathroom, Walk-In Closet, Guest Bedroom, Bathroom, Kitchen, Dining Room, Temple, Patio (two zones), Sacred Pool (with waterfall!), Fire, Yard (four zones), Cypress Grove
• Aspects: HARVEST MOON, AUTUMN EQUINOX
• Setup: Diana is in the process of sacrificing Kong to fuel her spell to kill Tolliver.
• Death Spell: 36 shifts: +7 from Lore and her specialty in Blood Magic, +5 for her Sanctum, +20 for the human sacrifice, +2 for the equinox, +2 for the full moon. It'll take her nine exchanges (channeling four power at Fantastic (+6) control) to complete the ritual. The sacrifice comes at the end. If the sacrifice is thwarted, but she completes the ritual, it will be a 16 shift attack on Tolliver in the form of a lightning bolt. He'll defend with Athletics.
