Background

Robert wasn't sure what he was when he came to the end of his gambling streak, but he wasn't right. He felt empty. He spent several years trying to fill the void. Drinking, more gambling, eating, drugs, sex. Then, one day in 1964, he caught sight of one of the Lost at a casino and knew this was the key to what he felt, or didn't feel. He spent the next three months tracking them and then one night he saw his old partner John Henrickson as one of them. But he knew John was still working out of their old office on the Strip. So he went to the office and talked to him and found that he wasn't quite right either. So he killed him and, lo and behold, what remained wasn't a body but a collection of random items in the rough form of a body. He collected these clues and started to try and find others. Over the course of the next five years, he killed six more fetches before he was caught and found to be criminally insane in 1970. He was sent to Nevada State Prison in Carson City, where he continued with his obsession, killing two more fetches on the inside in his first year of incarceration before being put into solitary. In 2000, he was transferred to High Desert State Prison due to its better security and the more advanced medical facilities his failing health required. He's still managed to add to his body count despite his isolation, three more fetches (one a guard) over the course of the last thirty-five years. He is considered to be an extremely dangerous, incurable paranoid schitzophrenic.
