When he changed, around the time of the Castro War, he took his place in this hierarchy as a member of the Celestial police. He learned well at his father's side until family issues took the elder Wong back to Hong Kong and Eric stepped up to take his place. He has proven an incredibly adept Itheaur in the traditional fold. He intimidates, manipulates, and commands spirits at the behest of his alpha, spending the rest of his time keeping an eye on the Shadow and watching for signs of imbalance. Since Susie's change, he has taken her on as a (much needed, in his opinion) balance to his own role, teaching her of spirits and encouraging her to learn diplomatic means of dealing with them.
