Fire-Touched Beta (Lodge of Fevered Light)
Dai Ho was a Rahu before joining the Pure. She is Tina and Kelly's mother.
Description
Hishu
A short, slender Chinese woman in her mid-50s with long gray and black hair in a bun and dark eyes. She wears a loose white kimono-like blouse, black slacks, and comfortable shoes. She has a very pleasant, soft voice and speaks with a faint Vietnamese accent. She has a very unassuming demeanor and appears not the least bit threatening.
Urhan
A small black wolf with a graying muzzle. Using Anybeast, she is a lean doberman pinscher.
Storytelling Hints
Dai has put a great deal of effort into learning to be as non-threatening as possible, in order to gain the advantage in combats. She is the pack's negotiator and diplomat, but also one of its most powerful warriors. Still, she is quite happy to avoid combat when it is necessary to get what she wants and looks down upon those who rush into conflict.

Background
Dai's life had already been torn apart, most of her family dead during the war in Vietnam, when she underwent her Change under the full moon and killed a number of American soldiers as well as several villagers. Terrified of what she had become, she fled to Saigon and was forced to sell herself to get by, eventually catching the eye of an American soldier whom she married in order to get away from her home. When they reached San Francisco, he fell into a deep depression due to shell-shock and the realization that she didn't really love him, and killed himself. She went into Death Rage when she found him and it was then that the Keepers of the First Flame found her, brought her into the church, and helped her come to terms with what she'd become. The horrors she had seen during the war and the way she'd been forced to degrade herself made her very receptive to their message and she was initiated into their tribe, her Rahu brands burned off. Since then, she has adopted the Church as her family and loves them deeply, protecting them at any cost. She is wary of violence, though, seeing it as a last resort, and has dedicated herself to finding ways to avoid it even as she masters it. She is an adept manipulator but, in deference to Gurim, tries to avoid direct lies. She runs a small restaurant and market in Little Saigon called 'Cholon', after the Chinese district in Saigon.
