So, it appears that these three werewolves are active in the Haight and have already been connected to half a dozen violent encounters. A tip from someone close to the SFPD tells us that a criminal investigation is already in progress with more than a dozen individuals missing and presumed dead at the hands of these three. Perhaps this explains the shooting of officer Sean Phelan where the three were seen fleeing the scene? One also has to wonder how the three were infected with lycanthrope. Was Sgt. Carter or Mr. Delgado bitten while serving in Iraq? Or was Mr. Delgado infected while in prison? Did one member of this pack of werewolves infect the others, or were they all infected individually? Your humble editor can only speculate. Be warned, though, one thing that is not in doubt is that these are violent, dangerous individuals and contributors should be cautious pursuing further evidence of their activities.

Werewolves of Haight-Ashbury

Photographic evidence gathered by our contributors suggests that there are werewolves active in the city by the Bay. This footage is from a security camera at a liquor store at Fell and Divisadero, taken on Sunday, March 25, 2007.

  • Ten seconds of security camera footage from a liquor store on Fell and Divisadero showing Christine Hellstrom in Gauru being pursued by the pack.

The three people in pursuit of the werewolf are Lee Carter, a former Army Sergeant dishonorably discharged in Spring of 2006,

  • Picture of Lee with her unit in Iraq in the Summer of 2004.

DeAndre Pruitt, a convicted drug dealer from Oakland's East Side,

  • Mugshot of DeAndre from his arrest in 2003.

and Christoval Delgado, former Special Forces and mercenary with connections to the Nortenos.

  • Bad still of Christoval from an ATM on Fillmore from April 7, 2007.

At first, your devoted editor thought that perhaps these people were werewolf hunters, possibly working for some government agency. However, that changed when this footage was received. It is from a parking lot security camera at Amoeba Records on Friday, March 30, 2007.

  • Twenty seconds of video showing a man with a gun (Death Angel) being accosted by Lee and Christoval with Fred hiding behind a car, an odd shadow moving under the car, and DeAndre-dog and Hank-dog coming down the street towards them.

Mr. Pruitt is not present but two large dogs are. One of these dogs has been sighted on multiple other occasions. This footage, taken by a witness at Duboce and Noe Station on Monday, April 2, 2007, shows it hunting a teenage girl in Duboce Park. The fate of the girl is unknown.

  • Two minutes of bad, faraway camera phone footage of DeAndre-dog chasing down Alice in Duboce Park, dated Monday, April 2, 2007.

This shot was taken the following Saturday from a security camera at Ida Wells High School on Alamo Square.

  • A bad still of DeAndre-dog in the fog in Alamo Square.

Later that night, crime scene photographers got these shots of the same dog and two wolves in the bushes near where a SFPD officer was shot.

  • Two decent pictures of Lee-wolf, Tess-wolf, and DeAndre-dog in the bushes near the site of Sean's shooting.

An ATM camera on Fillmore showed them leaving the crime scene, but now one of the wolves is gone and Mr. Delgado is present.

  • Four stills from an ATM camera on Fillmore showing Christoval with Lee-wolf and DeAndre-dog on the sidewalk.

Until it was destroyed by fire, the three seemed to be living together in an apartment above this grocery store on Hayes, around the corner from where the initial footage was taken.

  • Two pictures of the apartment over Rigel's store, before and after the fire.

Shortly before the fire, there was a gunfight involving our three alleged werewolves just outside, caught by a grocery store video camera. Amazingly, the footage gets a shot of Mr. Delgado beginning to change as he is dragged by the shooter's car out of shot!

  • Ten seconds of the gunfight in front of the apartment captured on the grocery store video camera through the window, catching Christoval's partial change despite a bad angle and obstructions, timestamped Friday, April 6, 2007.

Most recently, the three were involved in a bloody melee at the popular nightclub Grind on Haight on June 25, 2007, captured by eyewitnesses.

  • Three camera phone shots of the melee at the Grind, with the vampires blurry but Lee and Christoval clearly visible confronting them. The blood splattered on the wall is barely visible, but the severed arm is not.

Later that week, another patron caught this image of the three back to confront one of the witnesses to the previous attack.

  • Dark camera phone shot of Lee half in the DJ booth with DeAndre and Christoval talking to the bouncer, shot from the dance floor.

Was Sgt. And who was the werewolf the three were pursing on Divisadero? Is there a link to the shooting on Hayes? Your humble editor dares not speculate. Be warned, though, one thing that is not in doubt is that these are violent, dangerous individuals and contributors should be cautious pursuing further evidence of their activities.
