Gifted Human
Description
A young kid in his late teens with messy brown hair inexpertly cut short, hazel eyes, and tanned skin. He wears a black Metallica t-shirt under a denim jacket with jeans and a pair of sturdy work boots. He carries a worn black backpack whereever he goes with his extra clothes, laptop, cell phone, and assorted knickknacks of value, including tools, a battered copy of the Roman Ritual, rosary, plastic vial of holy water, and a sharpened silver butter knife. He has a pair of puncture scars on his neck from a near miss with a vampire in the Tenderloin.
Storytelling Hints
Twilight is your typical street kid, wary and full of bluster, but he is also intelligent and very knowledgeable. Once you get past the act, he is a very rational person to talk to and, while suspicious of most people, he isn’t pig-headed about those who are genuinely trying to help.

Background
Dominic Sickert ran away from home with his kid brother after his widowed mother ended up with an abusive junkie of a boyfriend and couldn’t bring herself to protect them. Six monthes later, his brother died from pneumonia under the 101 overpass. He might not have made it much longer if his brother wasn’t there to comfort and forgive him before passing on. Five years have passed since and Dominic’s sense for the supernatural has only grown stronger. Several times he has had near-fatal contact with the creatures that feed off the homeless and he does all he can to protect the street kids from them. He has even managed to perform an exorcism using some items stolen from a Catholic church. He knows about vampires and werewolves, ghosts and spirits (the latter of which he calls demons), and has even seen a Beshilu once, though he has no idea what it was other than a huge rat with golden eyes. He is wary of any of them though he’s had friendly contact with a few, and isn’t shy about letting them know he knows or telling them he’s watching them. This is what’s endangered his life on several occasions, but he knows the streets well and has a lot of friends.
