The three founding members of this cabal started at Stanford, under the tutelage of [[Ptah]], but found themselves stifled by the ''[[Rosicrucian Society]]'' and moving in a different direction than their mentor. So, they quite the order and moved to San Francisco, finding an unknown hallow at the top of Mount Sutro's massive broadcast tower and an abandoned Nike missle silo underneath. They set up shop, calling themselves the ''Spiritual Switchboard Collective'', and continued their research while simultaneously waging a war of ley line manipulation with their former associates to the south.

Born in San Francisco, Awakened as a teenager, became a brilliant programmer doing high-tech artificial intelligence and human interface systems. Now he’s involved in first-generation cybernetics for the military. He’s a technological idealist who believes that humans can improve themselves with science, surpassing their natural limitations. Eventually, this will lead to Awakening. He found the other co-founders during his work and they formed this cabal to persue their ideal: using technology to connect the Fallen and Supernal Realms.

Born in Russia but came to Stanford to get his degree in computer and electrical engineering during the 90s, where he met Kurian. He Awakened soon afterwards, he believes under the influence of Kurian’s technology. He explores a unified theory joining magical energy with the mundane forces of the Fallen World and technology exploiting this link, in addition to his more mundane research at Stanford involving computer engineering and expert systems.

He’s begun to read a lot on numerology and is interested in the other two’s focus on cybernetics.

Child of Hong Kong immigrants who wanted to be a doctor since he was a small child. He had a difficult waking Awakening during which he was confronted by his personal demons. People thought he was having a nervous breakdown, it being his second year of medical school. At the end, however, he was more confident and more skilled. He is top of his class and continues to persue his dream. He met Kurian through his teacher, who was working with him on a cybernetic implant, and the two hit it off. They argue a lot, Ming believing that biotechnology is the way of the future and that hardware interfaces are a dead end.
