==Background==
Christine Hellstrom was born to the Fire-Touched ritemaster Phillip and his wolf-blooded wife Selma. When the Castro War began, she went into hiding with her mother and never saw her father again. He was abusive but time has changed the memories so that she now sees him as strong. She served as a member of the church until her First Change come to her and it made her dreams come true. She was like her father and could avenge his death. Bernie doesnâ€™t see it that way, though, and disuades her from taking action until sheâ€™s stronger. She resents his efforts to toughen her up.
