	The Free Clinic was originally founded in the late 60s but quickly ran out of funds and volunteers as the 80s approached and was acquired by the Church as an extension of its older Castro operation. It grew quickly as the AIDS epidemic spread from the gay population to poor and homeless drug users. The locus was already there when it changed hands but has been carefully fed by the new owners. It is centered on one particular bed which has been moved from the terminal unit into a private room in the basement and the Fire-Touched have been careful to â€œquarantineâ€ certain terminal patients there in order to grow it to its present power. Its influence now covers the entire basement, which contains the church, cremation facilities and morgue, makeshift cells, the offices of the elders, and the packâ€™s lair. The room with the bed contains their latest sacrifice to their totem. The first floor is the free clinic and offices for the parents and the second and third floors are the hospice.
