New page

The ''Sin-Eaters'' were a quasi-Catholic Clavicularius cabal based out of the Mission District during the Barbary Coast period. They thrived for over fifty years through their ability to command the numerous spirits of vice roaming the decadent port and drawing them forth from people for a price. After the earthquake, though, the full extent of their dealings with these demons was discovered and half of the cabal was destroyed with another quarter fleeing the city. The remaining members only survived by accepting the protection of Mary Pleasant and turning over to her control of their hallow, allowing themselves to be absorbed into her cabal, the ''[[Children of Olorun|Children of Bondye]]''.
