The Court of the Vine has a strong presence in the mountains as it is a American Viticultural Area and has a strong countercultural atmosphere as the site of the LSD parties of the Merry Pranksters.
==Description==
The mountains appear as towering slabs of rock with trees and plants clinging to them, when the deign to appear at all.
==Storytelling Hints==
It cares little for the politics and concerns of short-lived beings, keeping only the company of other ancient elementals and members of the tree choir. It has a strong dislike of the [[Big One]] and it is thought that the mountains are the force which keeps it in check, trapped beneath the earth. The 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake angered it and it has had a grudge against the [[:Category:Mountain-Walkers|Mountain-Walkers]] for having precipitated the event.
