==Background==
Lidia was born to Salvadoran expatriates who came to California in the 80s. Her mother is wolf-blooded but unaware of that fact. In the lead up to her First Change, she got more and more restless and finally, when it came, just ran as far and as fast as she could. The Caballeros followed at a safe distance and approached when she fell exhausted perilously close to Predator King territory to the south. She was wary of the men and found Gabiâ€™s attitude off-putting, but Teresa was able to get her to open up, mostly by sharing her faith. When she officially became a member of the pack, it was as a member of her mentorâ€™s tribe. Fearful of what she might do to her parents, she hasnâ€™t returned, but calls them periodically to assure them sheâ€™s okay. They believe she is living in Santa Fe after having run away with a boy. It has been two years since her Change but sheâ€™s still adjusting. In school, she was a member of the track team and had a degree of popularity in that capacity, and misses having people to talk to.
